Diocesan Development Framework
In order to advance planning for new parish and school facilities in the diocese, the Bishop has established –
- A Diocesan Development Committee
- Regional Planning Committees in each of the six regions of the diocese (West, Central, South, Valley, Heart and East).
The Diocesan Development Committee assists the Bishop and Parish Priests by providing a coordinated approach to capital development in the diocese.
Regional Planning Committees provide the opportunity for communities to contribute their knowledge and understanding of local circumstances to diocesan strategic development planning and to ensure planned developments are consistent with the Diocesan Strategic Development Plan.
