Interest Rates
Interest is calculated on the daily balance on all accounts. Contact the office for current interest rates.
Pensioner Accounts
The deeming rate is paid on Pensioner accounts. If preferred, reduced or non interest bearing accounts are available.
Effective from January 1, 2010, all new investments made by income support customers in Developmnent Funds are no longer exempt from Centrelink deeming rules. All investments prior to January 1, 2010, will continue to be exempt from the deeming rules until the investment ceases to exist.

Easy to operate
Deposits can be made:
- By electronic funds transfer
- Direct debit from a nominated account
- Direct salary payment
- Using the Internet
- Or in person at the CDF office
Withdrawals can be made:
- Using CDF Online.
- Over the phone or fax (funds transferred overnight to your account held at another financial institution).
- By mail using the reply paid envelope.
- In person at the CDF office.
Periodical Payment Service
A free periodical payment service is available to enable regular payments to be made on your behalf directly from your CDF account.
