The Catholic Development Fund Melbourne (CDF) was founded in 1956 in order to raise funds to build Catholic Primary Schools and Secondary Colleges in the developing suburbs of Melbourne.

Today, funds invested with CDF are used to support the mission of the Church by providing low cost funding for Catholic capital building projects in:

 
  • Parishes
  • Catholic Primary Schoolsand Colleges
  • Religious Orders
  • Diocesan Agencies and Catholic Church organisations
  • Health and Aged Care predominantly within the Archdiocese of Melbourne

CDF Community Fund

Across Australia, a number of Catholic Development Fund’s (CDF) have joined together in a new partnership to form the CDF Community Fund. Through the combined efforts of these Diocese, the CDF Community Fund is able to provide funding for a variety important capital development projects in Catholic Parishes, Schools, Colleges, Hospitals, Aged Care and Social Service facilities.

The CDF Community Fund offers a range of products for students, Catholic organisation employees, parishioners and members of the wider community.
