In 1996, the Australian Catholic Bishops' Conference and the Australian Conference of Leaders of Religious Institutes published TOWARDS HEALING, outlining the principles and procedures for dealing with complaints of sexual or physical abuse against personnel of the Catholic Church in Australian. This document was revised in December 2000. INTEGRITY IN MINISTRY
In 1999, the Australian Catholic Bishops' Conference and the Australian Conference of Leaders of Religious Institutes published INTEGRITY IN MINISTY, which is a document of principles and standards for Catholic Clergy and Religious in Australia. This document sets out the professional standards expected of clergy and religious in most areas of pastoral ministry.
